My monoprints are given added depth and dimension through the application of woodblock printing and paint. They are "one of a kind" in which the design, having been dampened with turpentine, is transferred from a lucite plate by means of an etching press, onto paper. At this point, each print is treated individually, enhancing the composition with watercolor or etching ink. In some prints, a transparent film is rolled over the composition in the same manner as a wash might be applied to a watercolor.
